Some of us sensibly use anonymous.
We do not want to be yet nother victim of gangsters who prowl all
newsgroups.
We just do not want to be robbed, burglarized, or even killed through a
home
invasion.
That is sensible collectors try to use anonymous, if they do not know you.
Just 2 cents of advice.
Earlier the same Marvelous DavaoDave and his anonymous brother in arms
posted here as follows:
----------------
Contacts in Washington say that FORM 211 filed and being processed at IRS
HQ.
IRS aggressively going after tax cheats, and this case may also involve
"money laundering" overseas. Ebay as well as others forced to co-operate.
Hear from contacts in US Government that XXXXX being investigated.
Ebay and other ISP providing evidence, as well as customers having to
testify.
Something to do with massive tax fraud?
----------------
The above insinuations don't look like a "sensibly use" of anonymous
posting, i.e. for protection purposes.
We have already learned that the above claims are false, see for example:
"The above information is completely false, there is no ongoing
investigations in that area.
Dozens of happy clients from around the world will attest to this."
Therefore, until any fault of the mentioned dealer is proved, the following
(and not the invoked personal protection) applies:
"Defamation—also called calumny, vilification, slander (for transitory
statements), and libel (for written, broadcast, or otherwise published
words)—is the communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly
stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business,
product, group, government, or nation a negative image. It is usually a
requirement that this claim be false and that the publication is
communicated to someone other than the person defamed (the claimant)."
